세계인이 깜짝 놀란 ‘대한민국 줄넘기 국가대표 선수단’

대한체육회 회원단체인 대한민국 줄넘기협회에서 선발된 대한민국 줄넘기 국가대표선수단이 6월30일부터 7월10일 까지 미국 올란도에서 펼쳐지는 ‘2018 World Jump Rope Championship’ 대회에 참가해 세계인들을 깜짝 놀라게 했다. 30초 스피드 , 3분 스피드는 모두 1위를 차지했으며 상위순위 모두 한국 팀이 차지했다. 한국 팀은 현지에서 전 세계에 방송되고 있는 인터넷방송에 인터뷰까지 했을 정도로 인기가 대단했다. 이처럼 화려한 줄넘기 기술은 계속 이어져 스피드 종목을 시작으로 토요일까지 대회를 계속 이어갔다.
이번 대회에서는 이태현 국가대표팀 감독이 이끈 대한민국 줄넘기 국가대표선수단이 세계기록 2개를 경신했으며 스피드 프리 모든 종목을 망라해 최고의 성적으로 경기를 마쳤다. 대한민국 줄넘기 위상을 전 세계에 알렸다는데 가장 큰 의미가 있다. 이들 선수단은 김대중 대한민국 줄넘기협회 사무처장, 이태현 국가대표팀 감독, 고유섭 국가대표팀 코치 등과 함께 선수단 21명이 출전했다. 특히 이들 선수 중에는 경민대학교(의정부시 줄넘기협회 소속)레저스포츠과 학생 11명이 참가를 해 대한민국 대표선수들의 주축을 이루며 뛰어난 성과의 선두적인 역할을 했다
한편 이들 선수단의 이태현 감독은 경민대학교 레저스포츠과 겸임 교수로 동계, 하계스포츠, 건강줄넘기 등을 지도하고 있다. 특히 대한민국 줄넘기 보급에 헌신을 다하고 있는 교수로도 유명하다. 🎊Korean National Team Score🎊 ️ 안재원 (Jaewon An)_M.17-18 & younger Single Rope lndividual Speed
